Handbuilding
Participant(s) spend up to one hour learning how to make a cup/bowl/plate/budvase on the table. Guided by our instructor.
The clay is around 1.5lbs to 2lbs.
You get to pick the color you’d like, whether black, white, or red/tan.
Pinch bowl
We call it a pinch bowl, but really it’s one of the fundamentals of handbuilding, which then you get to decide whether you want to make it wider to be a bowl or tray shape, or more taller and narrower to be a cup shape.
SlabYou can roll out a slab using some hand techniques, and use those to construct shapes that are more flat than textured like a pinched piece.
Coil
Coils are fun. you get to add the heights and they could be super tall and narrow!

We are a professional ceramics studio focused on small-group classes for those seeking both hands-on making and a calm, relaxed environment.
The studio is designed for shared moments: time spent with friends, family, or loved ones, within a dedicated studio and gallery space in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles.

Each participant completes two pieces. One during wheelthrowing, one during handbuilding

Ages three and up are welcome.
End Results
Two professionally fired, food-safe ceramic pieces, ready for everyday use.
Pick up
